Resort Atmosphere

A big, lively family resort by day — the cottage is your quiet corner to come back to.

Getting Around

How close everything is

  • Wyldewood Beach — a few minutes by golf cart
  • The FunPlex pools & water park — 4-minute golf cart ride
  • The Quarry & Splash N Go — steps away, right next door
  • Boston Pizza & the general store — 3-minute golf cart ride

The resort covers more than 560 acres — a golf cart makes it easy to reach every corner, and the Quarry is close enough to be your backyard.

Full resort experience

Choose July or August, when the resort is at its busiest and you'll find the greatest selection of activities, entertainment and water attractions.

Fewer crowds, more relaxed

Consider May, early June or September — ideal for the beach, exploring Niagara and quality time at your private rental without peak-season crowds.

A peaceful fall escape

September and October bring quieter surroundings, beautiful sunsets, golf, hiking, wineries, Niagara-on-the-Lake and the changing fall scenery.

A few things to keep in mind: Sherkston Shores is a seasonal resort, and individual attractions, activities, restaurants and services may operate on different schedules throughout the season — hours and availability can also be affected by weather. If a particular attraction is an important part of your vacation, we recommend checking its current schedule before your arrival.

No matter when you visit, there's plenty to discover — from relaxing on the beach and enjoying your private rental to exploring Niagara Falls, wineries, golf, hiking, shopping and local restaurants. Sherkston Shores makes a great home base for a Niagara getaway.
